Dear followers,

You always have to start a story somewhere. Today I am going to tell you where my story has started.  When I was 8 years old I took guitar lessons. I played the Spanish acoustic guitar and my teacher taught me a lot of things about playing this beautiful instrument. At that time I didn’t sing at all.

When I was in High School I had to sing in front of my class. I was 13 years old and very shy at that moment. It was a singing competition and I made it to the finals. I figured out I could really sing, but I was very nervous so I didn’t show up at the finals (I pretended to be sick). True story.

A couple of years later (when I was 18 years old) some guys from my hometown started a band, The Rousers. They asked me to be the lead singer. This was the moment that I really started to like singing and playing music. The first performance was in a pub in our hometown (Christmas 2012). We rocked the stage that night, together with another band called Kabaal.

Years past by with a lot of performances and fun. Until I decided to leave the band. The guys made some serious plans to bring the band to a higher level. And I thought I wasn’t able to make it that far. I simply couldn’t find the time and energy to be with the guys. So in 2014 I left.

Nowadays I am still singing and performing with Kabaal sometimes. I also play acoustic sets together with Leon. He is an awesome guitarist and he is like a little brother to me. I really don’t know exactly what I am going to do in the future, but I think I will figure that out soon. If not, I am still going to enjoy every single moment where I get the change to sing and play music.
